Manage Your Profile Settings

Your profile holds the settings that belong to you alone — your name and photo, how dates and currency display, and which notifications reach you. Nothing you change here affects the rest of your team.

    2. Click My Profile.

    General

The General tab has two sections in the left sidebar.

    My Profile

    • Photo — click Upload to add or replace your picture.
    • First name and Last name.
    • Work number and Mobile number.
    • Receive SMS reminders 15 minutes before events are due — text reminders go to United States numbers only, and your carrier's messaging rates apply.
    • Appearance — switch between Light and Dark.
    • Set your commission rate — your rate on won deals.

Click Save changes when you're done.

    Regional & Format

Controls how dates, times, and numbers appear across your account.

    • Time zone
    • Date format and Time format
    • Language
    • My main currency — all deal totals and reports display in this currency. Working in more than one currency requires the Grow plan or higher; see Multi-Currency and Reporting.
    • CSV column separator and CSV decimal mark — used for imports and exports.

    Click Save changes.

    Email

    • Primary email address — the address you log in with, and the address your Pipeline emails send from.
    • Synced email — click Sync email to connect your Google or Microsoft Exchange inbox. See Email Sync for the full setup.
    • Customize your signature — the signature attached to every email you send from Pipeline. See Set Up Your Email Signature.
    • Email Signature Types — customize each signature your admin has created. Click View or Edit on any row.
    • Office address — required to comply with CAN-SPAM laws if you send campaigns or bulk email.
    • Other email addresses — click \+ Add additional Email to register another address so forwarded and cc'd mail from it lands in your account. See Email Activities.

    Click Save changes.

The Email Links setting, which decides whether email addresses open in Pipeline or in your own mail app, only appears once Email Sync is active. See Managing Your Default Email Application.

    Security

    Change your password

    1. Enter your Current password.
    2. Enter your New Password. It must have at least 8 characters, including one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character. Each requirement ticks off as you type.
    3. Click Save changes.

Forgotten your password, or locked out? See Change or Reset Your Pipeline CRM Password.

Check Reset API key if you also want to reset the key your connected apps use. Resetting it signs you out of every connected app, plug-in, and integration.

    Multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication adds a one-time passcode from an authenticator app on top of your password. Click Enable Multi-Factor Authentication to set it up — download an authenticator app to your phone first. See Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication for the full walkthrough.

    Notifications

Choose which alerts you receive and where they arrive. Each notification has up to four channels: Email, In-App, Mobile, and Browser. Not every notification is available on every channel — the channels a notification doesn't support appear greyed out.

Notifications are grouped into four sections:

    Section

    What it covers

    Reports

Morning Coffee Report, Team Use Report, Personal Use Report

    General

Event reminders, task assigned and completed, activity feed mentions, record created, restored, permanently deleted, merge completed, upcoming milestones, deal won, deal assigned, company assigned, SMS received

    Trackable Email

When a trackable email is opened, and when its content is viewed

    Connect

When you receive an email to your synced account

Under Connect, use the dropdown to decide whose email triggers an alert — only existing Pipeline contacts, or any sender.

Admins also get an Exports notification when a large export finishes.

Browser notifications sit at the top of the tab and show as enabled or disabled. Expand the row to change the setting.

For more on the daily summary, see Morning Coffee Report. For how open and click tracking works, see Understanding Email Tracking.

    Shortcuts

Turn on Enable keyboard shortcuts and click Save changes. The full key list sits right below the toggle:

    Calendar

    • Truncate titles after X lines — how much of a long event title shows on the calendar.
    • Week starts on — pick the day your week begins.
    • Show event status on calendar — display each event's status alongside its title.

    Click Save changes.

    Search Settings

Choose which fields appear in your universal search results, separately for Company, Deal, Person, and Project.

    1. Select the record type at the top.
    2. Check the fields you want in the Columns list. Use the search box to find one quickly.
    3. Watch the Search Results - Live Preview on the right to see the effect before you leave the page.

Click Reset all to return that record type to its defaults.

No Search Settings tab? Your admin decides whether users can customize their own search results, under Settings > General > Search Settings. Ask them to turn it on.

    Page Settings

Determines how details for deals, companies, people, and custom fields are edited on profile pages.

Turn on Enable edit mode by default to have inputs visible at all times, so you can update a field on the spot without switching into edit mode first. Leave it off to open profiles in read mode and enter editing deliberately.

This setting is yours alone — it doesn't change how profile pages behave for anyone else.

No Page Settings tab? Your admin sets the account default under Settings > Profile Pages > Edit Mode, and decides whether users can override it. See Customize Profile Page Layouts.
