See What AI Copilot Can and Can't Do

Use this reference to check where Copilot can help before you ask it to do something.

In the tables below, Full means Copilot can create, edit, and delete through the chat. Most of it means Copilot handles the bulk of the work, with the one gap noted. Read only means Copilot can show the information but not change it. If an area isn't listed, Copilot can't work with it.

    Areas Copilot Doesn't Support

Handle these in the normal screens:

    • Account and access: Account settings, branding, currencies, regional defaults, billing, data import and export, the activity log, and the account-wide default list view. Copilot manages your personal saved lists only.
    • Users and permissions: Creating, editing, or deactivating users, and assigning roles, permissions, or seats.
    • Email, phone, and outreach: Sending or logging email, email campaigns, signatures, email templates, calls, SMS, and call logs. To write emails with AI, use the AI Email Assistant.
    • Integrations: Setting up or managing integrations, apps, API keys, Auto Enrich, or webhooks. An automation that Copilot builds can still call a webhook as its action.
    • Projects: The whole Projects area, including project tasks, project templates, and milestones.
    • Forms and layout: Add, edit, and quick add form layouts, conditional fields and dropdowns, quick fills, business card scanning, deal won reasons, and profile page setup.
    • Record-level changes: Applying or removing a tag on a specific record, editing or deleting a logged note, adding line items to a deal, setting more than one primary contact on a deal, merging duplicates, running bulk actions, and deleting a saved list, report, or dashboard.
    • Other tools: Lead forms, eSignatures, and map views.

Copilot also works with the current state of your records, not their history, and it can't read files, attachments, or images.
