Set clear targets for your team — revenue won, deals won or created, deals moved forward, tasks completed, or activities added — and watch progress as it happens.
Before you start: To assign a goal to a team, the team needs at least one team leader.
Create a Goal
- In the side navigation, click Tools > Goals.
- Click \+ Add goal in the top-right corner.
- Select the Goal type.
- Fill in the goal details, including who it's for and the time period.
- Optional: make the goal recurring so it starts again each period.
- Save the goal.
You can't edit a goal after you create it. To change one, duplicate it, adjust the copy, and delete or stop the original.
Manage a Goal
Click the three dots on a goal to:
- View the goal details.
- Duplicate the goal.
- Stop a recurring goal.
- Delete the goal.
When Goals End
Each goal ends automatically at midnight at the end of its period:
Period
Ends
Weekly
Between Sunday and Monday
Monthly
Between the last day of the month and the first day of the next
Quarterly
Between the last day of the quarter and the first day of the next
Yearly
Between December 31 and January 1
Leaderboards
A goal shows on the Leaderboard tile only when it's assigned to more than one user, such as a team. This leaderboard is different from the one in your profile, which shows only your own team and a quick overview of Challenges.
To track revenue targets by product line, territory, or team, use Performance Pulse Goals on the same Goals page.
