Upgrade or downgrade your plan, add or remove licenses, switch between monthly, annual and two-year billing, and manage add-ons — all from Update Subscription.
Before you start:
- You need Account Admin permissions to see the Billing tab.
- To remove licenses, mark the users you no longer need inactive first. You can't lower your license count below your number of active users. See Remove a User and Free Up Their Seat.
Update Your Subscription
Update Subscription walks you through three pages: Terms and Licenses, Add-ons and Payment details. The Summary of charges on the right updates as you go, so you can see the cost before you pay.
- In the lower-left corner, click Settings.
- Click the Billing tab.
- Click Update Subscription.
- (Optional) To switch plans, click Change plan under Selected plan and choose a plan.
- Under Number of licenses, click + or – to set how many you need.
- Under Billing cycle, choose Monthly, Annual or Every 2 years.
- Click Continue to Add-ons.
- (Optional) Add or remove an add-on. See Add or Remove Add-ons below.
- Click Continue to Payment details.
- Review your payment method, billing information and the total in the Summary of charges.
- Click Pay Now. If the change doesn't cost anything today, such as removing licenses, the button reads Update Subscription instead.
To compare what each plan includes before you switch, see Account Plans or the Plan benefits section at the bottom of the Subscription tab, where Compare plans gives a side-by-side view.

Add or Remove Licenses
Each active user needs a license. You can add one in any of these ways:
- Before inviting someone: Raise the license count using the steps in Update Your Subscription.
- While inviting someone: If every license is already in use, inviting a new user adds a license automatically. See Add a User to Your Account.
- With a free license: If you have an unused license, inviting a user takes it at no extra cost. Settings > General > Users shows how many licenses are in use.
Replacing someone? Mark the old user inactive first, then invite the new person. They take the freed license, so you don't pay for an extra one.
To remove licenses:
- Mark each user you no longer need inactive. See Remove a User and Free Up Their Seat.
- Lower your license count using the steps in Update Your Subscription.
Marking a user inactive doesn't lower your bill on its own. You keep paying for the license until you reduce your license count, and you need to do that before your renewal date for it to apply to your next payment.
Add or Remove Add-ons
Pipeline CRM offers two add-ons. Each is billed on the same cycle as your plan.
- Auto enrich fills in missing details on people and companies, with a choice of monthly credit packages. See Enrich Contact and Company Data with Auto Enrich.
- Email validation checks email addresses as they're entered. See Email Validation.
To add one:
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Update Subscription.
- Click Continue to Add-ons.
- For Auto enrich, choose a credit package from the dropdown.
- On the add-on's tile, click Add for _\[price\]_. The tile now shows Added to plan.
- Click Continue to Payment details.
- Review the Summary of charges and click Pay Now.
To remove one:
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Update Subscription.
- Click Continue to Add-ons.
- On the add-on's tile, click the X in the top-right corner.
- Click Continue to Payment details.
- Review the Summary of charges and click Update Subscription.
The add-on stays active until the end of your current billing cycle.
