Auto Enrich is a paid add-on that fills in missing details on your People and Company records using a work email or company website.
Before You Begin
- Your account needs an Auto Enrich plan. An Account Admin purchases and configures it — see Buy or Change Your Auto Enrich Plan.
- Auto Enrich must be enabled for your user in Settings > Other > Auto Enrich.
- People records need a work email.
- Company records need a website.
How Credits Work
Auto Enrich runs on a monthly credit system.
- Each successful enrichment uses 1 credit.
- If the provider can't find a match, no credit is used.
- Credits reset every month and don't roll over.
- Once you've used all your credits for the month, new enrichment requests fail and you'll see an error message.
Check your remaining credits any time in Settings > Other > Auto Enrich.
What Auto Enrich Fills In
Pipeline CRM sends the record's work email or website to the enrichment service, then updates your fields based on your field mappings.
For People
- Full name
- Job title and role
- Company name and website
- Company details like address and summary
- If the company doesn't exist yet, Auto Enrich can create a new Company record and link it to the Person
For Companies
- Company name
- Logo
- Registered address
- Company summary and description
Enrich a Single Person or Company
- Open a Person or Company record.
- Click Actions in the top right corner.
- Select Auto Enrich Data.
Enrich People and Companies in Bulk
Use bulk enrichment to update many records at once.
- Go to a People or Company list view.
- Select the records you want to enrich using the checkboxes on the left.
- (Optional) To enrich every record matching your current view, across all pages, click Select all records in the bulk actions bar at the bottom of the screen.
- In the bulk actions bar at the bottom of the screen, select Auto Enrich.
- Confirm the enrichment. Enrichment runs in the background — for large lists this may take a few minutes, and results appear directly on the enriched records.
Each successful enrichment uses 1 credit, so Select all N records can spend a large number of credits in one run. Check your remaining credits in Settings > Other > Auto Enrich and confirm the record count in the bulk actions bar before you confirm.
Configure Auto Enrich
Account Admins control who can use Auto Enrich and how it writes to your fields.
- Go to Settings > Other > Auto Enrich.
- Toggle Auto Enrich on.
- Choose who can use it: leave the organization-wide toggle on, or turn it off and select specific users.
- Set whether Auto Enrich overrides data that's already on a record.
This page also shows your total credits for the billing month.
Override existing record data
What happens
Off
Auto Enrich fills empty fields only and never overwrites values you entered manually.
On
Auto Enrich can update mapped fields even when they already have a value.
Begin with Override turned off. Once you trust the data quality, enable it for any fields you want Auto Enrich to update automatically.
Map Enriched Data to Your Fields
Field mapping controls how incoming data populates your Pipeline CRM fields. For each incoming field — first name, last name, job title, LinkedIn URL and so on — choose which Pipeline CRM field should receive that data. You can map to default fields or to your custom fields, so enriched data fits your existing sales workflow.
Review the Audit Log
The audit log records every enrichment, including:
- Who performed the enrichment
- Which record was enriched
- When the enrichment happened
- The type of enrichment (Person or Company)

Troubleshooting & FAQs
The Auto Enrich option is missing
- Confirm your organization has purchased an Auto Enrich plan.
- Make sure the feature is enabled in Settings > Other > Auto Enrich.
- Check that your user is included in the allowed user list, if access is restricted to specific users.
Enrichment failed or shows an error
- Check your remaining credits in Settings > Other > Auto Enrich. Once the month's credits are used up, new requests fail.
- Confirm the record has a work email (for People) or a website (for Companies).
Some records didn't update in a bulk run
- The enrichment service couldn't find matching data for those records. These attempts don't use credits.
- The required work email or website was missing or invalid.
Data didn't change after enrichment
- Check the Override existing record data setting. When it's off, Auto Enrich only fills empty fields.
- Review your field mappings to make sure incoming data is mapped to the fields you expect.
