Meet CAN-SPAM Requirements in Pipeline CRM

Make sure every mass email you send from Pipeline CRM includes your physical address and a working way to unsubscribe.

The CAN-SPAM Act is a US federal law for commercial email. It requires you to represent your business accurately, include a valid physical mailing address, and give recipients a way to unsubscribe. Pipeline CRM requires every mass email to meet CAN-SPAM requirements, wherever you or your recipients are.

    Add your physical mailing address

Pipeline CRM includes your physical mailing address in every mass email. You're prompted to enter it before you send your first email campaign. After that, the address is added automatically and can't be removed. You can update it if it changes.

Use a legitimate mailing address where you can receive mail. If you don't have a business address, consider renting a post office box.

Using a false address breaks CAN-SPAM, and penalties can be significant. See the FTC's CAN-SPAM Act compliance guide for business for details.

Every mass email sent through Pipeline CRM includes an unsubscribe link. It's added automatically and can't be removed. People who unsubscribe are left out of all future bulk emails and campaigns.

You're responsible for honoring every unsubscribe request promptly, including requests that don't come through the link, such as a reply asking to be removed. To mark someone as unsubscribed by hand, or to reverse it, see Manage Unsubscribed People.
