Build a form inside Pipeline CRM, share it or embed it on your website, and every submission lands in your account as a person, deal, or company.
Before you start:
- Only admins can create and manage lead forms. Other users can view submission data if they have permission.
- Your plan sets how many forms can be active at once. You can create as many forms as you like.

Already have a form on your website? Use Web-to-Leads to send its submissions to Pipeline CRM instead. Lead Forms is for building a new form from scratch inside Pipeline CRM.
Create a Form
- Go to Tools > Lead Forms.
- Click \+ Add new in the top-right corner.
- Choose a template — Registration, Contact us, or Download — or choose Custom to start from a basic email form.
- Click Save and continue. The form editor opens on the Form Editor tab.
Choose Your Fields
The Form Editor tab lists every element on your form. A live preview appears on the right.
To change the form title or description:
- Click the pencil icon next to Title.
- Edit the Title and Description.
- Click Save.
To add a field:
- Click \+ Add field.
- In the first dropdown, choose the record type the answer belongs to: Person, Deal, or Company.
- In the second dropdown, choose the Pipeline CRM field to fill — a default field or one of your custom fields.
- Enter the Label visitors will see.
- Turn on Required if visitors must fill it in.
- Click Save.
Use the pencil and trash icons to edit or remove any existing field, including the submit button text.
Style Your Form
On the Style Settings tab, you can:
- Choose the font, weight, and size for the title and for labels and inputs.
- Pick the text color, primary color, page background color, and form background color.
- Upload a custom logo with Upload.
- Turn off Pipeline branding to remove the "Powered by Pipeline" line. You can't turn this off during a trial.
Turn on Embedded above the preview to see how the form looks on your website instead of as a standalone page.
Set Up the Configuration Tab
The Configuration tab controls what happens after someone submits the form and where their data goes in Pipeline CRM.
Submit Options
Under Success page, choose what visitors see after they submit:
- Show thank you message: Edit the Title and the optional Message.
- Redirect to a web page: Enter the Redirect URL to send visitors to.
Data Mapping
- Turn on Prevent duplicates so a repeat submission doesn't create a second record.
- In Assign to, choose who owns the new records:
- Leave it blank and the form's creator owns them.
- Pick one user and that user owns them.
- Pick several users and ownership rotates between them (round-robin).
- Optional: choose a Person Source to record where the person came from.
- Choose whether new people are created as a Lead or a Contact.
- Optional: choose a Deal Stage to create a deal in that stage with each submission.
- Optional: choose a Deal Source for those deals.
- Optional: click \+ Add field to fill another field with the same fixed value on every submission — for example, a Deal Name.
Form Name
Enter a Form name. Only your team sees this name; it helps you find the form later on the Lead Forms page.
Save and Turn On Your Form
- Click Save Form in the top-right corner.
- Turn on Active to start accepting submissions. You can also turn a form on or off from the Status column on the Lead Forms page.
Share or Embed Your Form
Both options are at the bottom of the Configuration tab, below Form Name:
- Share link: Click Copy link under Share link from to get a standalone page you can send in emails or post on social media.
- Embed on your website: Click Copy code under Embed on your website to copy the code snippet. For where to paste it, see Embed a Lead Form on Your Website.
Track and Manage Your Forms
The Lead Forms page shows every form with these numbers:
