Learn what Pipeline CRM stores when you sync your email, and what happens to that data when you disconnect or cancel.
Pipeline CRM supports email sync for Gmail and cloud-based Microsoft accounts (Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Outlook.com). How your email is handled depends on your provider. To connect your account, see Sync Your Email.
Gmail
- No raw email storage: Pipeline CRM doesn't store raw Gmail messages on its servers.
- Live view of your inbox: What you see in Pipeline CRM reflects your live Gmail inbox.
- Activities are stored: If you create activities from emails in Pipeline CRM, those records are stored like any other CRM data.
- Account data deletion: All your Pipeline CRM account data is deleted 270 days after you cancel your subscription.
Microsoft 365 and Outlook (Exchange)
- Initial sync: Pipeline CRM imports the last 60 days of email during the first sync.
- Stored email copies: Copies of your emails are stored on secure servers outside your email provider, whether or not you create a related activity in Pipeline CRM.
- Deletion on disconnect: If you turn off email sync or cancel your account, the email copies Pipeline CRM stored are deleted within 30 days. Your original emails stay on your provider's servers.
What happens if you disconnect
- Email activities stay: Email activities you've already logged remain in Pipeline CRM.
- Syncing stops: New emails are no longer pulled into or shown in Pipeline CRM.
Delete your data
- You can delete your data at any time.
- Data is deleted automatically after your account is canceled, as described above.
