Add Tags to Files

Organize your files with tags so you can quickly filter and find what you need.

Before You Start
  • Any user can apply existing tags to files
  • Only admins can create new tags
Create File Tags
  1. Go to Settings > Other > Files.
  2. Select the File Tags tab.
  3. Click + New file tag button.

From a Company, Person, or Deal Profile Page
  1. Open a company, deal, or person profile.
  2. Locate the Files tile.
  3. Find the file you want to tag.
  4. Click Add tags.
  5. Start typing the tag name—autocomplete options will appear based on available tags.
  6. Select the tag to apply it.

From the Files List View
  1. Go to the Files page.
  2. Click the cell under the Tags column for the file you want to tag.
    • Search for the file and in the Tags column, select the tag you want to apply.
    • Bulk apply a tag by selecting multiple records.
