Before you start:
- Admin permissions required in both Pipeline CRM and Kixie
- Your Kixie Business ID (found in Kixie account settings)
- For SMS: A valid 10DLC SMS campaign registered with Kixie
- Go to Profile > My Profile > Phone Number.
- Enter the same phone number you use in Kixie.
- Click Save changes.
Part 2: Get Your Kixie Business ID and API Key
- In Kixie, go to Manage > Account Settings > Integrations.
- Copy your Business ID and API Key.

Part 3: Install the Integration in Pipeline CRM (Admins Only)
- Go to Settings > Other > App Store.
- Scroll to Kixie and click Install.
- Select the Kixie Service tab.
- Paste your Business ID and API Key.
- Click Test Connection to verify the setup.
- Save changes.
Part 4: Configure Call Activity Mapping
- Select the Phone Settings tab in the Kixie integration.
- Choose an activity category for each call type:
- Completed incoming calls
- Completed outgoing calls
- Missed incoming calls
- Missed outgoing calls
- Voice messages (incoming)
- Voice messages left (outgoing)
- Click Save changes.
- Click Back to App Store and toggle the integration to Enabled when ready to go live.
Part 5: Verify the Integration
- In Kixie, go to Manage > Automations > Webhooks.
- Confirm two new webhooks appear with URLs containing
integrations.pipelinecrm.com/webhook/.
To test: Create a person in Pipeline CRM with a test phone number, then call that number from Kixie. The activity should appear automatically on the person record.
Enable SMS Integration (Optional)- In the Kixie integration, select the SMS Settings tab.
- Check Enable SMS Support.
- Choose activity categories for incoming and outgoing texts.
- Click Save.
Send and Receive SMS Messages
- Open a record.
- In the Contact Info tile, click the SMS icon.
- Type your message in the messenger window.
- Click the Send icon.
💡 Tip: If a contact has both work and mobile numbers, toggle Show settings to choose which number receives the SMS.
Make Calls with Click-to-Dial
Pipeline CRM works with Kixie's Chrome browser extension for click-to-dial functionality. When you click a phone number in Pipeline, your browser opens Kixie to connect the call.
Configure SMS Notifications
- Go to My Profile > Notifications.
- Scroll down and under General locate SMS received.
- Choose your preferred notification methods for SMS: in-app, email, or mobile.
What Gets Logged
Once connected, Pipeline CRM automatically logs:
- Completed calls (incoming and outgoing)
- Missed calls (incoming and outgoing)
- Voice messages (incoming)
- SMS messages (incoming and outgoing)
