Managing Customers Using List Views

With List Views, you can easily distinguish between companies you’re prospecting and customers (those you’ve already won over), making your workflow smoother and your relationships clearer.

What’s the Difference?

  • Company: A business you haven’t closed any deals with (yet).
  • Customer: A business with at least one closed/won deal. This can also include businesses you worked with before using Pipeline.

Key Customer Fields: What to Watch

Two fields help you keep tabs on your customer relationships:
  • Is Customer: Shows if a company has been converted to a customer.
  • Health Status: Offers a visual cue about the strength of your business relationship.
To add these columns:
  1. Click on the Columns icon located in the upper right corner of the Company List View.
  2. Find them under the Customer Management field group.

Saved List Views: Find What Matters Fast
Want to quickly spot which companies are customers and which are still prospects? Here’s how to do it:
  1. Click the columns icon in the Company tab.
  2. In the Customer Management group field, enable “Is Customer”.
  3. Once you’ve added the column, filter by Yes/No and save your custom list.
  4. Save your list.
Any saved list views you create will appear here for easy access. Just click the saved list view field in the top left corner of the Company tab to switch between them.

Visibility depends on your user role and account settings. If something looks off, check with your account administrator.

Quick Takeaways

  • Use the Company tab to view both companies and customers.
  • Saved list views make sorting and filtering a breeze.
  • Key fields like Is Customer and Health Status keep you informed.
  • If you’re ever unsure about visibility, your account administrator is your go-to.
