Crafting professional emails within Pipeline CRM is straightforward and efficient. The built-in email editor offers a range of features to help you create impactful messages.

Setting Up Your Email

  • Subject Line: Enter your email’s subject in the “SUB” field at the top of the composition window.
  • Templates:
    • Click Insert template below the subject line to apply a saved template.
    • To save your current draft as a new template, click Save as a new template.
    • For more on creating templates, refer to the Creating Email Templates article.

Formatting Your Message

Customize your email’s appearance using the formatting toolbar:
  • Font and Size: Choose your preferred font style and size.
  • Text Styling: Apply bold, italic, or underline to emphasize text.
  • Color: Select from predefined colors to highlight important information.
  • Paragraph Options: Format your text as standard paragraphs, block quotes, or headers to structure your message effectively.
  • Insert Images: Add images directly into the email body to enhance visual appeal.
  • Insert Links: Use the chain icon to add hyperlinks. Links are automatically tracked, allowing you to see when a contact clicks on them.
  • HTML View: Switch to the HTML editor for advanced formatting control, ideal for users familiar with HTML code.
    • Remember to close out the view after inserting the code before saving!

Adding Attachments

  • Click Add Attachment to include files such as PDFs or documents.
  • Attachments are tracked, enabling you to monitor when a contact opens them.

Sending or Scheduling Your Email

  • Once your email is ready, choose to Send Now or Schedule it for later delivery.

Want to make sure your email looks just right before it lands in someone else’s inbox? Here are two easy ways to preview your draft:
  1. Send the email to yourself for a firsthand look.
  2. Instead of clicking “Send Now,” select “Send me a test email” to see exactly how it will appear to your recipients.
