Email Templates

Email templates in Pipeline CRM let you create, save, and reuse email messages—so you can stop typing the same thing over and over. Templates help keep your communication consistent and save you time, whether you’re sending a single email or mass updates.

How to Create a New Template

Option 1
If you’ve just written an email you’ll want to use again, don’t hit send yet—click Save as template.

Option 2
To create one from scratch, go to the Templates tab and click + Add new in the upper right corner.

Personalize with Merge Tags

Make your emails feel personal by adding Merge Tags. These allow you to drop in details such as the recipient’s first name, last name, email address, or company name. Want your signature to show up automatically? Use the Signature merge tag.

If a recipient doesn’t have a value for a merge tag, you can set a fallback value. Just add your default text after ‎fallback= (like this: ‎{{FirstName|fallback=there}}).

Managing Your Templates

All your templates live in the Templates tab under the Email section. Here’s what you can do:
  • Create, edit, copy, or delete templates.
  • Filter and sort templates by name, creator, date, or shared status
When you’re ready to use a template, click Insert template in the email composer and pick your favorite from the dropdown.

Sharing Templates

You can keep templates Personal (just for you) or mark them as Shared so your whole team can use them. Shared templates help everyone stay on the same page and maintain consistent messaging.
Templates are all about making your life easier and your team’s communication smoother. Give them a try and see how much time you can save.
