What Is Advanced Visibility?
Advanced Visibility allows account admins to customize access to custom fields and field groups for different teams. Whether you need to keep billing details private or limit who can update certain data, these settings put you in the driver’s seat.How to Set Custom Field Visibility
Take control of who can view or edit your custom fields with a few simple steps:- Go to Settings in the lower-left corner.
- Select the Data Entry section and click on Custom Fields.
- Click the edit icon next to the field you want to restrict.
- In the Visibility section:
- Add any teams that should have special access.
- Toggle the appropriate access level: View, Edit, or Add.
Visibility Levels Explained
- View: Users can’t see the field on lists, profiles, or when adding new records.
- Edit: Users can see the field but can’t change its contents.
- Add: Users can add data when creating a new record but can’t add more later.
