What Is the Email Validation Add-on?
Email Validation is an optional add-on designed to verify email addresses entered into Pipeline CRM. It helps you:- Maintain accurate email data.

- Support effective communication by ensuring emails are valid.

Key Features
- Validation Modes:
- Hard Reject: Blocks invalid emails from being saved.
- Soft Reject: Warns about invalid emails, but allows them to be saved.
- Quota: Set number of validations each month, depending on your billing cycle.
- Real-Time Validation: Emails are verified as you enter or update them in the system.
How to Enable the Add-on
- Go to Billing in your account settings.
- Click on Update Subscription.
- Select your desired plan.
- Continue to Add-ons
- Select the Email Validation box.
- Enter your payment details.
Configuration Steps
- Navigate to Settings > Select the Email tab > Email Validation.
- Select your preferred mode:
- Hard Reject: Prevents saving invalid emails.
- Soft Reject: Allows saving, but issues a warning for invalid entries.
Using Email Validation
- Adding or Updating Emails:
- In Hard Reject mode: Invalid emails are blocked and you’ll see an error.
- In Soft Reject mode: You’ll receive a warning but can still save the entry.
- Valid emails are always saved without issue.
- Editing Existing Records:
- The same validation rules apply when you update email fields.
Billing & Quota Management
- The add-on is billed with your base plan (same cycle).
- Track your monthly usage within Email Validation settings.
- If quota is exceeded, emails can still be added, but validation will not occur until your quota renews.
Additional Details
- Where It Works: All system email fields, including person and company records.
- Limitations: Validation does not apply to data imports.
