View Records on a Map and Plan Routes

See where your companies, people, and deals are on a map, then plan the fastest route between visits. Use it to manage territories, avoid overlapping visits, and spot areas you haven't covered.

    Open the Map

    • From the side navigation: Click Tools > Maps.
    • From a list view: Open a Companies, People, or Deals list view, click the three dots in the upper-right corner, and select View on map. Every record in the list appears on the map.

    Find Records on the Map

    • Choose a record type: Show companies, people, or deals. Each has its own marker: a building for companies, a person for people, and a briefcase for deals.
    • Expand clusters: Nearby records group into a cluster. Click it to see each marker.
    • Search by address: Use the search bar to jump to an address. It searches addresses, not company or person names.
    • Filter: Click the filter icon to show only records that match the fields you choose.
    • Use a saved list: Import one of your saved list views to show just those records.

The map shows up to 60 locations at a time. If some are missing when you're zoomed out, zoom in or add a filter.

    Plan a Route

    1. Zoom in and select at least three locations you want to visit. A route can have up to 10.
    2. Click Start a New Route.
    3. Give the route a title.
    4. Set your start and end points, adding any saved locations you need.
    5. Review the stops.
    6. Save the route.

You can view, edit, or delete saved routes later, and open them in the mobile app. See Mobile App: Route Planning.

Routes are one-way only. Round trips aren't supported yet.

    Save Frequent Locations

Save addresses you start or end at often, like your office or home, to plan routes faster. You can turn each saved location on or off when you confirm a route.

    Route Credits

Viewing the map is unlimited on every plan. Planning routes uses monthly route credits per user:

Credits reset on the first of each month and don't roll over.

    How Deals Get Their Address

Pipeline CRM fills in a deal's address for the map like this:

    1. If the deal already has an address, Pipeline CRM keeps it.
    2. Otherwise, if a person linked to the deal has an address, the deal uses it.
    3. Otherwise, if the linked company has an address, the deal uses that.
