Why images from Google Drive disappear
If you link an image from Google Drive, it will expire or fail to display for your recipients. Google discontinued public folder hosting (the old https://googledrive.com/host/... links) in 2016, so Drive can no longer serve images directly into an email.
What to do instead:
- Upload the image directly into your email or template using the steps above. This is the most reliable option.
- Use an image hosting service built for direct public access, such as Imgur or Dropbox with the correct sharing settings.
- Host it on your company website and link to that URL.
