Connect FullContact to automatically fill in missing details on your people and companies.
Before you start:
- Admin permissions in Pipeline CRM
- A FullContact account with API access
Step 1: Connect FullContact (admin)
- Click Settings in the lower-left corner.
- Go to Other > App Store.
- Find FullContact and click Install.
- Select the FullContact Service tab.
- In FullContact, generate an API key. For help, see FullContact's guide to generating an API key.
- Paste the key into the Token field.
- Click Test Connection.
- Click Save changes.
Step 2: Choose what to enrich and map your fields (admin)
- Select the Settings tab.
- Choose which records to enrich: person fields, company fields, or both.
- Decide whether to let FullContact override existing data on people, companies, or both.
- Map FullContact fields to your Pipeline CRM fields. Some are mapped by default. To capture extra data, create custom fields first and map them here.
- Click Save changes.
With override on, FullContact replaces values already stored in mapped fields. Leave it off to fill empty fields only.
Step 3: Turn on the integration (admin)
Turn on the Enable toggle in the top-right corner of the FullContact settings. You can also turn it on from the FullContact tile in the App Store.
How enrichment works
FullContact enriches a person using their work email.
When you…
What happens
Create a person with a work email
The person is enriched
Update a person without changing the work email
Nothing
Change a person's work email
The person is enriched again
Turning on the integration doesn't enrich your existing records. Only records created or updated afterward are enriched.
