A Focused List is a saved group of records you choose one by one. Unlike a filtered list, it is not built from search criteria — which makes it the right tool for following up on people or deals that have nothing obvious in common.
Before you start:
- Each Focused List holds a maximum of 250 records.
Select Your Records
- Go to a list view — People, Companies, or Deals.
- Tick the checkbox on each record you want to include. To pick up every record matching the current view, click Select all N records in the bulk actions bar at the bottom of the screen.
A Focused List stops at 250 records, so Select all N records on a large list will exceed the limit. Filter the list down first.
Create the List
- With your records selected, choose Add to Focused List in the bulk actions bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter a name for the list.
- Click Save.
Your Focused List appears in the list name dropdown alongside your saved lists.
You can also start one from the three dots in the top right corner of a list, using Create Focused List.
What a Focused List Can and Can't Do
- It never changes on its own. Only the records you picked appear, and the list stays the same until you edit it.
- You can edit it later. Select or deselect records and update the list.
- There is no pagination. All records load at once.
- You can't filter inside it. The point of the list is the selection you already made.
- Historical metrics aren't available for Focused Lists.
If the records you want do share something — a stage, an owner, a date range — a saved filtered list will keep itself up to date, where a Focused List won't. See Save, Find, and Set a Default List.
