Deal Intelligence fields are extra columns that show how deals are moving rather than just where they are — how fast they were followed up, how long they've sat still, and where they were before they closed.
Before you start: Available on the Grow plan. The fields aren't selected by default, so you need to add them to your list view.
Add the Fields to Your List View
- Go to the Deals tab.
- Click the Columns icon.
- Under System Fields, select the Deal Intelligence fields you want.
First Activity, Hours to First Activity, and Days Since Last Activity are also available in the People list view.
What Each Field Measures
Field
What it is
Why it matters
First Activity
The date and time of the first completed activity on a deal or person
Shows when engagement actually started
Hours to First Activity
The time between the record being added and that first activity
Fast follow-up builds rapport and converts better
Days Since Last Activity
Days since the most recent activity
The clearest signal a deal is going quiet
Days in Stage
Days the deal has sat in its current stage
Finds the deals slowing your pipeline down
Stage Before Closed
The stage a deal was in before it was won or lost
Shows where deals drop off, so you know what to coach
First Activity counts manual activities and system-generated ones such as emails and completed tasks. It doesn't count stage changes, or activities created more than an hour before the record itself.
Days Since Last Activity and Days in Stage pair well with the stalled deal indicator — see Identify Stalled Deals in Your Pipeline.
Save the columns as a list view so you don't have to re-add them — see Filter, Save, and Share Priority Deal Lists.
