The global header is how everyone in your account moves between Deals, People, Companies, and everything else. Admins can reorder those tabs, rename them to match your team's vocabulary, or hide the ones nobody uses.
Before you start: Administrator permissions required. Changes apply to every user on the account.
Reorder, Rename, or Hide Tabs
- In the lower-left corner, click Settings.
- Click the General tab.
- Click Global Navigation.
- Adjust the tabs:
- Reorder: Drag and drop a tab into the position you want.
- Rename: Hover over a tab, click the pencil icon, and enter the new name.
- Hide: Click the eye icon beside a tab to remove it from the header.
- Click Save changes.
Renaming a tab changes the header only. Profile pages and list views keep the original name for that section.
The Dashboard tab is the one exception. You can rename it, but it can't be hidden, so it has no eye icon.
Choose Names Your Team Already Uses
Renaming pays off when Pipeline CRM's default word isn't the word your team says out loud — a construction company might rename Deals to Jobs, an agency might rename it to Contracts. Pick the term people already use and the header stops needing explanation.
To set your company's colors and logo as well, see Customize Your Account Colors and Logo.
