Guide to Sending Bulk Emails
Step 1: Preparing Your Contact List
- Sync your email.
- Ensure all recipients have valid Work Email addresses stored in Pipeline CRM.
- (Optional) Use filters to create a targeted list of contacts.
- Navigate to your People or Deal list view.
- Apply filters to find the group you want to email (Optional)
- Select the records you want to send the bulk email to.
- Click the Send Bulk Email button at the top of the list.
- Choose a saved email template or write a new message.
- Use merge tags (e.g., {{first_name}}) to personalize each email automatically.
Step 3: Sending Your Bulk Email
- Review your message and ensure all recipients are correct.
- Click Send Now or schedule it for later.
- You can monitor the email status under the Activity Feed in each contact’s record or by going to the Bulk Email section under the Email tab.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Emails will be sent to the selected recipients' email address entered into the Work Email field.
- Bulk emails are sent individually to each recipient, not as a group email.
- The daily maximum number of emails depends on your email provider’s sending limits.
- Due to Google and Outlook limits, you can send bulk emails to a maximum of 1,000 recipients at a time.
Who will receive your email based on the record type you selected?
- Person: The individual contact you have selected
- Deal: The primary contact for the deal.
Managing Email Engagement
Once you’ve sent your bulk email, check out its performance in the Bulk Email list view. You can see how many people have opened the email and clicked on any links/attachments.
Best Practices for Successful Bulk Emails
- Keep subject lines clear and engaging.
- Use personalization to improve open rates.
