Managing Deal Stages
Keep your sales process organized by customizing pipeline stages in Pipeline CRM. Here’s how to manage them with ease:How to Add or Edit Deal Stages
- Go to Settings (lower-left corner).
- Select the Deals tab, then click Pipeline & Stages.
- Click + Add Stage to create a new stage in your pipeline.
- Assign a probability valueto each stage (from 1% to 99%).
- 0% = Lost deal
- 100% = Won deal
- Note: Each pipeline can have only one stage per probability value.
- To update a stage, click the pencil icon.
- To remove a stage, click the trash icon.
- Each stage name must be unique across all pipelines—no duplicates allowed. This keeps things organized and confusion-free.
- Use probability values to track deal progress and forecast outcomes.
Understanding Deal Won and Loss Reasons
Admins can easily manage deal reasons to capture valuable insights. Here’s how:- Go to the Deal section in Account Settings and select Won or Loss Reasons.
- Customize how reasons appear:
- Show Reason in Deals: Toggle on to display the reason and add notes in the deals section.
- Reason Dialog: Enable a prompt to enter a reason whenever a deal is marked as Won or Lost.
- Require Reason: Make it mandatory for users to enter a reason before saving.
- Click + Add Deal Won/Loss Reason to create a new reason.
- Reorder reasons by dragging and dropping them using the six-dot icon.
- Edit any existing reason with the pencil icon.
- Remove a reason by clicking the trash icon.
