How do I do a wild card search in Pipeline?

Sometimes you may have partial information for a record within your account and would like to search for all possible matches. This is where using the "Wildcard" % search option can be helpful.

Steps to perform a Wildcard search within a list view:

2. Click on an option on the toolbar. In this example we will choose "People".

3. Click on the "WORK EMAIL" column header.

4. Click into the "Search" field.

5. Type in the % sign followed by the portion of text you would like to search this column for. In this example we have entered "%@abc".

6. Click into empty space outside of the dropdown to dismiss the dropdown.

7. You should then see the list update to show results matching your wildcard search. This can be helpful when you know part of the information or are unsure of how something has been entered, e.g. Matt vs Matthew or you recall part of an address or part of an email domain.
