Are bounces automatically recorded?

We do not have a way to record if the emails bounced since emails are sent from your own email provider. 

You can manually update the bounced column under the People tab, select 'Add/Remove Columns' and check the box next to Bounced email. Then just select the yes value for each corresponding record in the list view.
