How do I check for duplicates during an import?

A COMPANY import checks for duplicates based on the 'company name' field - the record will not import if there's an exact match to an existing company record

A PEOPLE import will check for duplicates based on email address - you can opt to check for duplicates right after the mapping stage

A DEAL import does not check for duplicates
