Postpone and Duration Periods

The Postpone Periods feature lets account admins control how far into the future users can postpone tasks or events. You can set custom postpone intervals and choose whether weekends are skipped.

Before you begin 
  • Only an Admin can adjust Postpone Periods.
  • Changes apply to all users in your account.
Configure Postpone Periods 
  1. Open Settings (bottom-left).
  2. In the top navigation, select Activities.
  3. Click Postpone & Duration.
  4. Set your options:
    1. Skip Saturday & Sunday: Enable to avoid rescheduling to weekends.
    2. Select a postpone date: Use the calendar to pick a target date.
    3. Add custom postpone periods: Create presets like 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days.
    4. Recurring end date: Set a default duration in months for recurring items.
    5. Require due dates: Toggle On/Off for new tasks.

Postpone a task or event 

You can postpone items in two main places:

Agenda List View

Go to Agenda and select the item or items you wish to postpone. Once selected, click an option (preset or specific date).


Agenda Tile

On a record’s profile, open the task/event in the Agenda box and select a postpone option.
